A Typical Day in the Job:

• Act as thefirst point of contactfor technical queries across the business globally, ensuring quick and professional resolution of issues.
• Manage and update theticketing system, prioritising requests and escalating complex problems to senior engineers when necessary.
• Support withuser account provisioning and de-provisioning, ensuring correct access levels and applying least privilege principles.
• Assist with themaintenance and monitoring of network, server, and cloud infrastructure, learning how modern IT environments operate.
• Performvulnerability assessments, security updates, and routine patching to keep systems secure and compliant.
• Participate in theIncident Responseprocess by investigating alerts and applying key security controls including anti-malware updates and firewall policies.
• Help maintain high standards ofIT governance, ensuring compliance with regulations such asGDPRandISO27001.
• Contribute to documentation, knowledge base articles, and training materials for end users.

You will be fully supported by IT professionals and complete your qualification throughBaltic Apprenticeships.

Desired Skills, Qualities & Experience:

• Strong communication skills and a professional, confident manner.
• A genuine interest in IT and technology.
• Good organisational skills and ability to take initiative.
• Willingness to learn and develop new skills.
• A Grade5/C in Englishand4/C in Mathsat GCSE is required for this role.

Salary, Hours & Benefits:

• £14,918 per annum
• Monday to Friday,9:00am 5:30pm

Your Training with Baltic Apprenticeships

As part of theLevel 3 IT Support Technician Apprenticeship, you will gain hands-on experience alongside structured online learning, virtual classroom sessions, and one-to-one support. You will develop essential skills in IT operations, cybersecurity, cloud services, customer support, and best-practice documentation.
