Mercury Hampton are recruiting on behalf of a highly respected, multidisciplinary consultancywho have recently entered an exciting growth phase following major project wins across the UK. They specialise in delivering complex engineering solutions withinAdvanced Manufacturing, Government, Healthcare, Education, Infrastructure, and Utilities.

Due to sustained growth across the Building Services division, we are looking to speak with talentedMechanical Design Engineers and Senior Mechanical Design Engineerswho are passionate about technical delivery and real progression opportunities.

The Opportunity

This is a rare chance to join a strong and supportive engineering team working on a mix of projects frommultiple smaller schemes to large, flagship high-value programmes.
Youll be working alongside Principals and Technical Directors, contributing at detailed design level and helping shape technical excellence within the business.

What Youll Be Doing

  • DeliveringStage 4 / 5 RIBA Plan of Workdetailed mechanical building services design
  • Producing detailed design models usingRevit / BIM
  • Developing calculations acrossHVAC, heating/cooling loads, pipework & ductwork sizing
  • Supporting multidisciplinary coordination and problem-solving with architectural & structural teams
  • Contributing to concept development through to construction-level design
  • Opportunity to lead packages independently and provide guidance to junior engineers

What Were Looking For

  • Proven mechanical building services design experience (degree or apprenticeship route considered)
  • Strong understanding ofUK building regulations, British Standards & CIBSE guidance
  • Experience withRevit, HEVACOMP / HAP, TASor similar design/calculation tools
  • Able to work as part of a collaborative team andhit the ground running
  • Motivated, proactive and passionate about delivering quality engineering solutions
