Introduction

Acorn by Synergie is recruiting an experienced Construction Project Manager to oversee and deliver key in-house construction projects. Projects include the redevelopment of existing buildings, new build and mixed-use schemes, and commercial fit-outs and refurbishments. You will work directly with the Owner & Managing Director and take full ownership of projects from concept through to completion.

Key Duties

• Lead and manage construction projects to ensure successful delivery - on time, within scope, and within budget.
• Coordinate internal teams, third-party suppliers, and contractors.
• Develop detailed project scopes, timelines, and feasibility assessments for new build and refurbishment projects.
• Produce budgets, analyse project costs, and oversee resource allocation.
• Use project management tools, such as Microsoft Project, to track progress and report performance.
• Manage changes in scope, schedule, and cost using appropriate verification techniques.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, suppliers, and contractors.
• Report progress and escalate issues directly to senior management.

Requirements

• Proven experience in construction project management, including refurbishments, fit-outs, and new builds.
• Experience managing steel portal frame new build projects (desirable).
• Ability to run multiple projects simultaneously from initial planning through to completion.
• Strong budgeting, analysis, and organisational skills; QS experience advantageous.
• Proficiency with project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project).
• RICS qualification preferred but not essential.
