Electrical Network Data Modeler

Our client is seeking an experienced Electrical Network Data Modeler to join our team and support the development of advanced data models for Electrical Transmission and Distribution networks. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in EMS (Energy Management Systems) or ADMS (Advanced Distribution Management Systems) modelling, as well as expertise in SQL and relational databases.

• Day Rate: £550-£650pd
• IR35 Status: Inside
• Duration: 6 months
• Travel: Remote (1 day a month in Scotland)

This Data Modeler will have the following previous experience:

• Design, develop, and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models supporting Electrical Transmission and Distribution systems.
• Create and validate electrical network models used in EMS and DMS applications.
• Work with modelling tools such as eTerra Habitat and Display Builder for EMS/AEMS applications.
• Interpret and apply Electrical Single Line Diagrams (SLDs) to ensure model accuracy.
• Collaborate with engineers and system analysts to optimize data structures and integration processes.
• Proven understanding of Electrical Transmission and Distribution networks.
• Hands-on experience with EMS/ADMS modelling tools (preferably eTerra Habitat).
• Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases (Oracle 19C or higher preferred).
