Are you an experienced Town Planner or Senior Planner looking to take the next step in your career?
Our client, a well-established and highly respected planning consultancy based in the beautiful city of Bath, is looking for a talented Senior Planner to join their growing team.
About the Role
Working closely with a diverse client base across residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments, you’ll lead on a range of exciting planning projects from pre-application to appeal stage. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a forward-thinking consultancy that values creativity, collaboration, and professional development.
Key Responsibilities
Managing a varied portfolio of planning applications and appeals
Providing expert planning advice to clients and stakeholders
Preparing and submitting high-quality planning reports and statements
Engaging with local authorities, developers, and consultants
Supporting junior members of the planning team
Contributing to business development and client relationship management
About You
MRTPI qualified (or working towards full membership)
Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in town planning, ideally within consultancy or local authority
Strong understanding of the UK planning system and current policy landscape
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ambitious, proactive, and passionate about delivering quality planning outcomes
