As a BI & Analytics Manager, you will lead the analytics department to drive data-driven decisions and insights. This role is pivotal in the leisure, travel, and tourism industry, based in Dover, and involves managing reporting tools and analytics strategies.

Design, build, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports in Power BI and Microsoft Fabric
Develop and optimise semantic models and curated datasets, ensuring they remain accurate and accessible
Ensure data consistency, quality, and scalability across the organisation
Nurture stakeholder relationships and translate business needs into insightful analytical solutions
Explore and integrate emerging technologies, including AI/ML, to enhance data capabilities
Promote and uphold data standards and best practices within the Analytics and Data Engineering team
Support and empower data-driven decision-making across the business
Carry out ETL processes and validate data for accuracy and completeness
Analyse data using SQL and scripting languages such as Python to provide actionable insights
Share clear and meaningful insights to guide both strategic and operational decisions
A successful BI & Analytics Manager should have:
A strong background in business intelligence and data analytics.
Experience working with large data sets from various sources.
Proficiency in data visualisation tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
Expertise in SQL and other data query languages.
Excellent leadership and team management skills.
The ability to communicate complex data insights clearly and effectively.
A proactive approach to identifying and solving business challenges through data.
