Description
We re partnering exclusively with a well-established, London Stock Exchange Main Market-listed company headquartered in Vauxhall, with offices across Europe, to appoint a technically capable and commercially astute Head of IT.
This is a rare opportunity to lead digital strategy across infrastructure, applications, and cybersecurity, while remaining hands-on and closely involved in delivery. You ll oversee a small, high-performing IT team and play a pivotal role in shaping the technology roadmap for a pan-European business.
You ll lead the successful adoption of a new ERP platform across multiple European offices, including Germany and France. This includes roadmap prioritisation, post-implementation support, and ensuring long-term value through effective change management and stakeholder engagement.
What you bring
We re seeking a strategic IT leader who combines technical expertise with strong business acumen. You ll be comfortable operating across board-level conversations and hands-on delivery.
Core requirements
Degree-level qualification or equivalent experience
Proven leadership of IT functions, including strategy, team development, and budget ownership
Track record of delivering complex, multi-country technology programmes
Strong understanding of cloud adoption, cybersecurity, and ITIL frameworks
Ability to translate technical concepts into business outcomes
Solid grasp of infrastructure, applications, and enterprise systems
Commercial mindset with sound financial awareness
Familiarity with enterprise architecture (TOGAF desirable) and systems integration
Hands-on experience with some of: Microsoft Power Platform, Azure, SQL Server, or Python
On offer is £100k - £120k (depending on experience), plus bonus, generous pension, private medical insurance, on-site gym, 28 days holiday, and more.
Please note that this is primarily an office-based role, with 4 days per week spent in modern Vauxhall offices and 1 day working from home.
