Our client, a leading membership-based organisation, is seeking a PHP Developer to join their expanding digital team. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled developer with a passion for innovation and problem-solving to work on a large-scale in-house platform.
As the in-house specialist for back-end systems, you will play a key role in improving, maintaining, and innovating digital services that support a broad user base. The role will involve collaboration with internal stakeholders, hands-on development, and end-to-end responsibility across the software lifecycle.
Build, maintain, and enhance back-end PHP-based systems.
Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code.
Contribute to the planning and delivery of digital projects.
Lead on all phases of the development lifecycle.
Work with stakeholders to gather requirements and improve user experience.
Integrate and align multiple digital systems to ensure consistency and functionality.
Essential Skills & Experience:
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in PHP development (including outside frameworks).
Strong understanding of the MVC programming approach.
Experience with MySQL for data management.
Solid knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, and Bootstrap.
Experience with Vue.js or similar frontend frameworks.
Proven experience developing and maintaining WordPress, including custom plugins.
Beneficial Skills & Knowledge:
Linux usage and administration.
Advanced MySQL and SQL administration.
Hybrid working model - minimum of 3 days on campus.
