Description
Manage and maintain IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and storage systems.
Implement and monitor system upgrades and patches to ensure optimal performance.
Provide 2nd and 3rd line support to resolve technical issues efficiently.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver infrastructure projects.
Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues proactively.
Ensure compliance with security protocols and industry standards.
Document processes, configurations, and changes to infrastructure systems.
Contribute to the development of disaster recovery and business continuity plans
Liaise and work with third parties and vendors to ensure service levels are met
Act as technical escalation point where necessary as part of a technical support escalation or lead during incident resolution
Participate in the IT on-call rota providing 24x7x365 cover
Profile
A successful Infrastructure Engineer should have:
Deep understanding of Windows Server, M365 and Linux operating system
Expert understanding of cloud platforms - Azure (preferred), GCP.
Expert knowledge of M365
Strong knowledge in Identity Management - Active Directory, EntraID, Azure AD
Confident in the build/configuration/management of HPe hardware
Good understanding of core network services - DNS, DHCP.
Comfortable with advanced PowerShell scripting
Desirable:
Knowledge of build automation - AutoPilot
Knowledge of monitoring tools - Dynatrace, Azure Monitor, AppInsights
Job Offer
