Senior Infrastructure Engineer****Leicester Hybrid UP to 55k + Benefits
We’re looking for a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to join a large enterprise IT team in Leicester. This is a hands-on, high-impact role where you’ll take ownership of complex network and infrastructure projects while mentoring and guiding other engineers.

You’ll work in a 7,000+ user, multi-site environment with hundreds of servers and over a thousand networking devices, giving you exposure to enterprise-scale infrastructure and the opportunity to influence infrastructure strategy and modernisation projects.
What You’ll Do
Lead Cisco LAN/WAN/WLAN design, optimisation, and security initiatives
Implement and manage cloud platforms (Azure / AWS)
Oversee VMware / Hyper-V clusters, upgrades, and maintenance
Drive automation using PowerShell, Ansible, or Terraform
Shape disaster recovery and business continuity plans
Mentor other Infrastructure Engineers and share best practice
What We’re Looking For
Strong experience in enterprise networking (LAN/WAN/WLAN)
CCNA or CCNP certified (or equivalent experience)
Proven track record with Cisco equipment, cloud platforms, and virtualisation
Knowledge of automation tools and enterprise DR solutions
Excellent problem-solving and organisational skills
A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with the ability to thrive under pressure
