Location: London/HybridContract type: PermanentHours: 35 hoursSalary: Competitive + BenefitsMain PurposeThe Head of Operations is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Microsoft 365 (M365) Development Lead to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the design, development, and implementation of M365-based solutions that meet business requirements and are scalable, secure, and reliable. Line management of a small team of m365 SME’s providing mentorship, coaching and managing the performance and M365 team members. Having a strong understanding of Azure technologies, you will need to be an evangelist of Azure technologies, effectively promoting and driving adoption of these technologies within the organisation.As part of your key responsibilities you’ll:• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide technical guidance• Design, code, and test M365-based solutions, such as Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Power Apps, Power Automate, and others• Lead and mentor a development team to ensure high-quality solutions• Ensure M365 solutions are built to best practices and standards, and are secure and scalable• Stay current with new features and capabilities in the Microsoft 365 platform• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across the M365 estate• Provide regular progress updates and reports to management• Line management of a team of developers• POC and POV solution development in collaboration with Architects and Azure team members using Azure and M365 technologies to demonstrate solutions that meet business requirements in accordance with business strategies• Contribute to the design authority and help grow it into a Cloud Centre of excellence• Collaborate with the QA function to ensure Quality is implemented throughout the SDLC• Collaborate with the IT Delivery manager with refining and improving the SDLC for Azure M365 capabilitiesAbout YouWe’d love you to have the following skills and experience, but please apply if you think you’d be able to perform well in this role!• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field or Microsoft 365 and Azure certifications• Highly experienced in Microsoft 365 development and implementation• Experience leading and mentoring development teams• Strong technical background in Microsoft 365 platform and related technologies• Excellent communication and collaboration skills• Ability to work effectively with stakeholders across the organisation• Proven track record of delivering successful M365-based solutions• Familiarity with DevOps, DevSecOps Test Driven Development Release management and Agile methodologies, Branching Strategies, Version Control processes• Experience using and implementing Git, GitHub, Azure Devops Git repositories• Ability to evangelize Microsoft 365 technologies and the benefits of the platform to both technical and non-technical stakeholders• M365 platform and tools: Extensive knowledge of the M365 platform and its related tools, including SharePoint, Power Apps, Power Automate, and Teams, and the ability to design and implement custom solutions on the platformYou may also have experience in the following roles: Microsoft 365 Developer, SharePoint Developer, Power Platform Developer, Azure Developer, Solutions Architect, Technical Lead, Development Manager, Cloud Solutions Developer, M365 Consultant, Digital Workplace Developer, etc.REF-
