Method Resourcing are partnering with an exciting start up based in London in need of a Fullstack Javascript engineer to help pave the way for a more test-driven environment and add best practices and frameworks across the platform whilst being able to hands on code. This will also help with the bottleneck within their CI/CD pipelines

Core tech stack:

Javascript/Typescript

Testing: Playwright, maestro and Supertest

CI/CD is built in github actions

AWS Serverless infrastructure

Mobile application in React native

Realistically, we are looking for someone who has around 3-4 years of experience, eager to impress and over-deliver, can work very independently and raise the quality bar - with the potential option of going permanent after for the right person.

Key requirements

Build lightweight but effective tests for critical and complex areas of the stack (e.g. Paywall, ROD, ROT).

Collaborate with teams to identify low test coverage on critical paths and develop actionable plans to improve it.

Maintain and improve the existing test suite, focusing on fixing flaky tests to enhance stability and confidence.

Act as a gatekeeper for quality automation testing-working hands-on with code but not picking up slack from other teams.

Resolve bottlenecks in CI/CD pipelines to improve platform efficiency and delivery flow.

Contract:

Outside IR35

Contract till end of January

Remote however, has to be based in the UK

£400 per day
