Software Developer - £80,000 - Bonus - Hybrid OverviewA global digital marketing and technology agency specialising in online gaming is seeking a Software Developer to join its high-performing development team. This role offers the opportunity to work on scalable, high-throughput systems that power real-time user experiences in the iGaming sector.You’ll play a key part in the next stage of their platform evolution, helping to build a premium look and feel for customer-facing sites.Role and Responsibilities
Work across the full stack, with an even split between frontend and backend development.
Contribute to the transition from a PHP-heavy stack towards TypeScript/React-based frontend applications.
Deliver scalable, performant, and reliable solutions for high-traffic platforms.
Collaborate with designers, product teams, and fellow engineers to raise the standard of customer-facing experiences.
Write clean, testable code and follow modern development best practices.
Contribute ideas for technical improvements and new greenfield builds.
Essential Skills and Experience
Strong commercial experience with PHP (backend).
Solid hands-on skills with TypeScript and React (frontend).
Exposure to Node.js or NestJS desirable (but not essential if TypeScript is strong).
Background in greenfield development projects
Comfortable working in collaborative, agile teams.
DevOps/cloud experience (e.g., Docker, AWS) is a bonus.
