Contract React Native Full Stack Engineer Outside

A fast-growing, product-led tech company is entering a major scale-up phase following a recent acquisition by a global fitness platform. They’re now expanding engineering capacity to support a surge in users and platform demand.
This is a contract opportunity for Contract Software Engineers to join at multiple levels to help build and scale a public-facing app used by millions worldwide.
There will be several phases to the overall program and there is real long-term opportunity.
Key Responsibilities:
Strengthen test automation and coverage across web & mobile
Scale and optimize CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions)
Debug and performance tune core app code in preparation for 10x user growth
Collaborate on building new features for a global fitness-focused audience
Ensure platform readiness for scale (infra, delivery, reliability)

AWS (Serverless architecture)
Ideal Profile:
Strong experience with React Native in production environments
Comfortable with end-to-end testing, CI/CD tooling, and cloud-based deployments
Previous experience working on consumer-facing or high-scale apps
Based in the UK and available for 2 days/week onsite
