We’re looking for a PHP Developer to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of SaaS platforms. You’ll join a talented team of engineers with deep knowledge of our clients products, working closely with Product and the Lead Engineer to define target states, set technical direction, and deliver high-quality, scalable solutions.
This is a hands-on role where you’ll contribute daily to building cloud-native web applications, ensuring security, scalability, and quality across the board.
What You’ll Do as the PHP Developer:
Own and deliver changes across the full stack - from backend services and data analytics to front-end features.
Contribute to decoupling our legacy frontend and building a modern React-based interface powered by solid APIs.
Define and deliver target architectures, balancing iterative improvements with long-term technical evolution.
Collaborate with backend, frontend, and hardware teams to deliver robust, integrated solutions.
Recommend and implement improvements to code quality, automated testing, CI/CD, and deployment strategies.
Stay current with best practices, continuously learning and sharing knowledge.
Take accountability for data security, GDPR, and compliance in your day-to-day work.
Partner with the Lead Engineer to shape the future of our technology stack and platforms.
Key skills required from the PHP Developer:
A confident, self-motivated senior engineer with strong communication skills, able to work across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Proven experience writing clean, reliable OOP code using SOLID principles and common design patterns.
Strong track record in building cloud-native architectures to meet scalability and reliability needs (GCP preferred).
Hands-on experience with Agile SDLC, embedding security and quality at every stage.
Full stack development experience, ideally with:
JavaScript (jQuery, with exposure to modern frameworks a plus)
MySQL (schema design, profiling, query optimisation)
SDLC tools: GitHub, Jenkins, Jira, Confluence
Please apply as directed for the PHP Developer.
