Overview
My client is looking for an experienced Network Consultant to take the lead on end-to-end project delivery, provide expert technical support, and act as a trusted advisor to clients. This is a hands-on role that combines design, implementation, troubleshooting, and mentoring, with responsibility for driving successful project outcomes and resolving complex technical challenges.
Contract Details:
Duration: 6 months (Long term program)
Day Rate: £400 - £450 per day (Outside IR35)
Location: Scotland - Option of site
Start Date: ASAP
Responsibilities
Lead projects through the full life cycle, from design to implementation.
Own and resolve technical issues, ensuring root cause analysis and long-term fixes.
Deliver engineering services, including low-level design, implementation, and consultancy.
Serve as an escalation point for advanced network and security incidents.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex network and security problems quickly and effectively
Requirements
Strong experience in network and security engineering roles.
Proven Cisco experience
Proven ability to design, implement, and support complex solutions.
Skilled in troubleshooting and resolving advanced technical issues.
Background in delivering consultancy and project-based services.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to mentor and support others.
