You’ll be part of the Leadership Team for the Product & UX Chapter within Dunelm Tech. The Product Management team are on a journey to transform the way that we think about putting the customer first, driving value and impact through best practices and processes to help accelerate our delivery of the company mission and purpose. You will be joining a talented team of Digital Product people that look after different aspects of the customer journey and proposition delivering real value through technology. What you’ll be doing:
Our connection to customers through our trusted network of stores within the Community alongside our digital reach makes Dunelm a really special place. Our ability to acquire customers efficiently and retain them, and their trust by providing meaningful services and face-to-face interactions is at the core of Dunelm’s ongoing growth and success. The goal of this area is to drive acquisition and retention of customers through our colleagues and experiences within our stores.
There are three main focuses within that:
a) make shopping at Dunelm a fast, friendly and happy experience
b) make working in a Dunelm store a frustration-free efficient role allowing our colleagues to concentrate on our customers
c) showcase the right products in the right way to inspire and excite our customers.
Together these focuses aim to provide a joyful experience for both customers and colleagues driving efficiency and happy customer interactions. You will be a key member of the senior Dunelm Product team, reporting to the Head of Product for Stores, Stock & Supply.
This role is about:
Developing a deep understanding of our stores, customers, store ranging strategies and our business through data, research and relationships to ensure that solutions land successfully.
Understand the broader industry context that Dunelm is operating in, surfacing opportunities and improvement needs.
Define and refine the product vision for your area together with the relevant stakeholders, leading through exploration and discovery and ensuring the team have clarity of focus and direction.
Creating a realistic roadmap of outcomes which deliver customer and business value in line with Stores Strategy.
Challenging the teams to ensure return on investment is always at the front of minds, calling out where returns are diminishing and pivoting should be considered.
Evangelising and driving experimentation, innovation and discovery activity to shape the right customer and colleague propositions and maximise business impact from the products in your area.
Work closely with your teams, UX designers and relevant business colleagues to build ambitious OKRs and find the earliest route to value.
Support the teams with prioritisation and help facilitate smooth progress of work where needed.
Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders (including C-suite) across Dunelm and with 3rd party suppliers.
Support and clearly communicate product roadmaps, business value, and product impact to a wide range of audiences, including at our Quarterly Business Review.
Champion Stores Strategy across all tech development and business opportunities.
