We are looking for a very experienced SAP integration consultant to join our SAP technical services team. The SAP integration consultant is responsible for delivering integration services that maintain and improve the reliability, availability and performance of integration of Dunelm’s SAP systems via SAP PO and/or BTP.
The SAP integration consultant will be responsible for delivering secured solutions allowing users to fulfil their everyday tasks whilst ensuring the company’s SAP systems are protected and compliant.
You’ll be working closely with a collaborative team including other SAP functional and technical consultants, architects, the security & compliance team, the service desk, and Tech and business colleagues.
What You’ll Bring:
Strong technical and functional expertise in SAP PO (ABAP & Java), with hands-on experience in BTP (e.g. cloud connectors, Groovy scripts, Migration Assistant, API Management).
Proven track record in delivering complex SAP integration solutions across on-premise and hybrid cloud environments.
Skilled in a range of protocols and formats:
Adapters: File (incl. content conversion), HTTP, FTP/SFTP, SOAP, REST, PROXY, RFC, IDOC, JMS, JDBC
Data formats: JSON, XML, XSD, XSLT
Experience with complex mappings (UDFs, advanced transformations) and both synchronous/asynchronous interfaces.
Familiarity with security methods like OAuth, API Key, JWT, and Certificates.
Knowledge of retail processes and SAP IS Retail.
Experience working in agile environments using Kanban.
Able to coordinate technical deployments into production for new or updated SAP solutions.
Strong relationship and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
Flexible, adaptable, and proactive in handling changing priorities.
Nice to Have:
Experience migrating from SAP PO to BTP.
Knowledge of Transport Express (AC), SAP Fiori, S/4HANA, cloud integration tools, and AWS.
