Grid Finder is the go-to platform for sim racers around the world, connecting over 3,000 racing communities and enabling thousands of drivers to discover and join leagues across games like iRacing, F1, Assetto Corsa, and more. Backed by a seven-figure acquisition and part of the RAFA Racing Club family, we’re scaling up to bring both virtual and real-world motorsport closer than ever.
We’re looking for a Frontend-leaning Developer with strong React and Next.js (TypeScript) skills to help us level up the platform. You’ll work on exciting, user-facing features while collaborating closely with our designer to ensure high standards. There’s room to grow into full stack if you’re keen—our stack is modern and clean: TypeScript, Next.js, Prisma, Postgres, all running on AWS EC2.
What You’ll Be Doing
Building and iterating on user-facing features in Next.js + React (TypeScript)
Collaborating with designers and using tools like Figma to bring clean, accessible UIs to life
Working closely with the founding team to ship quickly and thoughtfully
Contributing to performance, design and scalability decisions
Optionally learning or contributing to backend work (we’ll support your growth here)
What We’re Looking For
Commercial experience with React and TypeScript (Next.js ideally)
Strong frontend fundamentals – semantic HTML, CSS, accessibility, performance
A keen interest in gaming is essential – sim racing or motorsport enthusiasm is a big plus
A collaborative, ownership-driven mindset – we’re still a small team, so you’ll have a big impact
Right to work in the UK and able to work from our Newcastle office at least once a week
Bonus Skills (Not Required)
Experience with Prisma, Postgres, or backend services
Familiarity with deployment or devops on AWS (EC2)
Experience in performance monitoring, testing, or analytics tools
