As a key technical leader, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the game studio’s success. Your impact will extend beyond the development teams, interfacing with senior management and product managers to drive faster, higher-quality game deliveries. You will take charge of the direction of the game tech stack, introducing innovative tools and frameworks to continuously enhance the game delivery pipeline.

On a typical day, you will evaluate the viability of game concepts, lead projects from a technical perspective, mentor team members in code development, and work with integrations such as the shell. You will also consolidate technologies, explore and implement cutting-edge solutions, and collaborate with stakeholders to address high-level technical challenges.

Responsibilities:

Contributing to the building of game products from concept to release

Technical discussions on implementing game mechanics

Collaborating with other members of the game development team to create a cohesive and polished product

Maintaining current software and systems and fixing bugs

Leading projects from a technical perspective

Technical mentoring of junior team members

Requirements:

Knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript or another high-level language

Understanding of OOP programming principles

Experience with game development principles

Ability to communicate complex technical problems to non-technical stakeholders

Code documentation skills

Good understanding of agile methodologies and workflow

Ability to focus on the task at hand
