Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Systems Analyst to help implement innovative cloud computing solutions and solve complex technical problems. This role involves operating and engineering systems on a massive scale while working closely with development teams to establish and improve service support. The ideal candidate will have experience maintaining 24x7 production environments and working with Linux/Unix systems.

Key Responsibilities

Own support activities for AWS services and regularly work with development teams. Investigate and resolve customer issues, leveraging deep technical troubleshooting. Monitor and analyze system performance to drive improvements. Maintain and improve documentation, including support procedures and runbooks. Assist in deployments and maintain automation tools. Operate in a high-scale, high-growth environment, optimizing performance and security.

Required Qualifications

Experience running and maintaining a 24x7 production environment. Strong background in Linux/Unix systems. Understanding of support methodologies for production computing environments.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) methodologies. Strong technical troubleshooting skills. Experience with networking technologies. Proficiency in scripting languages such as BASH, Powershell, Python, or Ruby.
