As a Graduate Test Engineer at Verisart, you will be an integral part of an ambitious, high-performing product team. You will help us deliver high-quality products and services by providing support in testing new features.

This role offers a great opportunity to start your career in Engineering. Although you’ll begin with testing, as you grow and learn there will be the chance to start writing product code too. This is a fast-paced environment and we can teach you a lot, quickly.

The role has three main areas of responsibility:

Manual testing

• Perform manual testing for cases when automated testing is not possible or feasible

• Communicating with the product team to understand what manual or automated tests are required

• Perform regular regression tests

Automated end-to-end testing

• Write and maintain our automated tests in Cypress (written in Javascript)

Product development

• Assist in writing and maintaining product code, initially under the guidance of a more senior team member

• Over time, as you learn more, you’ll start to tackle larger features and improvements.

Requirements

• Coding bootcamp or University Degree in IT/Software Engineering/Computer Science or related

• Experience with Javascript

• Basic understanding of Web development

Nice to Have

• Experience or interest in Blockchain/Web3

• Experience with Agile frameworks, particularly Scrum and Jira

• Experience in a QA testing environment

• Experience with automation testing tools, ideally Cypress.io, Postman

• Other software development experience (backend or frontend)
