Your new role
As a Quality Engineer, you will play a key role in supporting the Quality Department to maintain compliance with key certifications including ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and IECEx. You will create, implement, and review quality documentation such as Quality Standards, Quality Plans, Inspection Instructions and Calibration Instructions.You will support Goods Inwards Inspection processes, maintain FAI and PPAP activities, and manage systems for customer concessions, deviations, and problem reports. You will also collect and maintain product compliance records (RoHS, REACH, PFAS), review quality metrics and KPIs, and contribute to corrective and preventive action (CAPA) activities.A significant part of your role will involve leading structured problem‑solving activities, including 8D investigations, and acting as a key point of contact for customer quality queries. You will also support Engineering with NPI/NPD activities and provide guidance to Quality Inspectors and Production teams.

This position would suit a meticulous QA/QC professional with strong experience in MEP building services across both mechanical and electrical installations. What youll do:
Designs, coordinates, and implements highly complex process sampling systems, procedures, statistical techniques, and quality systems.Develops process improvement and cost control programs throughout the plant.Performs review of customer/industry/internal specifications to ensure processes meet/exceed requirements. Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Engineering or related field and 3 years experience in a manufacturing environment.A total of ten (10) years manufacturing experience may be allowed in lieu of the Bachelors degree and 3 years manufacturing experience.Skills: Ability to read and understand blue prints, specifications, and requirements. Knowledge of machining, assembly operations, gauging, SPC, APQP, and quality assurance systems (ISO 9001, AS9100). Experience in performing Quality Audits. Experience using PC configured with MS Windows OS.Familiarity with MS Office software is desired. Project Management experience is preferred. Prior supervisory experience is preferred. ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE), Certified Quality Auditor (CQA), or Certified Quality Manager (CQMgr.) is preferred. Experience of leading PFMEAs Thorough understanding of problem solving methods-i.e. Six Sigma, 8D, root cause analysis, and the associated statistical tools used to analyze problems, evaluate and complete improvement projects Knowledge and understanding of Eatons corporate Supplier Quality Assurance requirements Detailed understanding of the key phases and requirements of an effective new product development and launch methodology Detailed knowledge of industry and customer specific quality registration schemes and certification processes (i.e., ISO9001, ISO/TS-16949, AS9100 etc). Lead audits and have detailed knowledge of auditing techniques to ensure compliance to defined quality requirements. Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Process Variation Reduction (Six Sigma capability studies, MSA) concepts and tool sets as they relate to process/product variability, and root cause and corrective action determination. What you’ll be doing
In this busy and engaging role as QA Supervisor, you will play a key part in protecting product integrity and driving continuous improvement across site operations. You’ll lead and motivate the QA team to monitor product quality, processing systems, and factory practices, ensuring agreed standards are consistently met and improved.
You will help embed a strong quality and food safety culture across the site, championing best practice and supporting compliance with customer and regulatory requirements.
Role Accountabilities
• Lead and motivate the QA team, managing audits, rotas, and resource planning
• Ensure compliance with customer Codes of Practice, Greencore standards, and site audit requirements
• Drive continuous improvement by closing out non-conformances and trending issues to deliver long-term solutions
• Oversee product and ingredient checks against specifications, investigating root causes where required
• Promote and embed a strong quality and food safety culture across site operations
• Coordinate QA input for product launches and support delivery of technical KPIs
• Train, support, and develop the QA team through clear communication and development plans
• Operate safely at all times, prioritising health, safety, and environmental improvements
