The Role

We are seeking an experienced, hardware-focused Electronics Engineer to join our client’s collaborative team of hardware and software engineers. You will take responsibility for the design, development, and testing of electronic hardware from initial specification through to production, while supporting colleagues and maintaining strong communication with customers. All engineering roles at the business are customer-facing, offering a unique opportunity to combine technical expertise with direct client engagement.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, prototype, and simulate hardware to ensure high first-pass success rates on A-model designs.

• Develop and manage complex electronic hardware designs, including schematic capture and multi-layer PCB layout (typically 2–8 layers, mixed-signal).

Technical Skills

• Proficient with Altium Designer (preferred); training available for the right candidate.

Qualifications & Experience

  • An engineering, or equivalent, degree, or be able to demonstrate a degree level of ability through relevant experience.

  • Knowledge of all relevent regulations, standards and codes of practice
  • Experience of mentoring and coaching of junior engineers.
