About:
We are currently seeking an experienced Mobile Commercial Gas Engineer to join our clients team based in Coventry. The successful candidate would cover service, maintenance and reactive work requirements to clients commercial heating systems and associated pipework. This role will be mainly covering clients, warehouses, offices and retail premises around the Midlands with the occasional Nationwide travel if necessary. Dealing with various commercial and domestic heating systems boilers, burners, warm air heaters etc.
Key Responsibilities:

Carry out annual services and scheduled maintenance visits to a high standard in accordance with Health & Safety procedures.
*
Completion of the required Gas Safety Certificates and/or any other relevant documents upon completion of any work.
*
Installation of new Heating and Hot Water systems.
*
Troubleshoot, Diagnose, identify, and rectify faults to equipment and systems to a variety of different manufacturers makes and types of equipment.
*
Identifying parts and materials with suppliers and contacting manufacturers to query technical faults, warranties etc.
*
Attend to maintenance and reactive calls to plumbing jobs as may be required.
*
Attend scheduled Training courses when necessary to ensure all skills and qualifications are up to date and to maintain H&S requirements and safe working practices.
Requirements:

Candidates must be Gas Safety Registered/ Commercial Gas safe registered
*
Have a clean Valid UK driver’s license.
*
Have Commercial Gas qualifications, domestic gas qualifications desirable.
*
Experience with air handling/ventilation systems.
*
IPAF/ PASMA are also essential due to servicing requirements to high level warehouse gas radiant heaters.
*
Be available to work away as there is a requirement to work away from home sometimes to complete required service visits.
Employee Package:

Pay Rate £20.90 per hour

37.5 Hours per week guaranteed (£40,755 P.A.)

Potential earnings with O/T £45k to 55k

Normal working core hours are Monday - Friday, 08:00 – 16:00 – (30 Mins Lunch unpaid)

Overtime as available (Daily hours in excess of 7.5 paid at time and a half)

Doftek is looking for a Senior Automotive Mechanical Engineer to take ownership of our mechanical engineering activities and ensure our actuators perform flawlessly on every vehicle they integrate with.
This isnt a vehicle design roleyoull be developing products for integration into vehicles, ensuring they are manufacturable, reliable, and ready for series production.
What Youll DoLead all mechanical engineering activities at DoftekDesign and develop actuators and mechanical components, from one-off test samples to series-intent production. CAD, 2D drawing, and FEA skills are essential.Manage outsourced partners to ensure proper industrialisation of products for series production.Assemble actuators for bench testing and fit them to test vehicles, including Doftek and OEM cars.Design, commission, and run performance and durability test rigs.Manage customer sample and demo car projects from scoping to delivery.Oversee the Doftek workshop and a team of engineers.Act as the lead mechanical engineer in customer meetings, providing technical expertise and guidance.Travel to customer sites and test tracks across Europe as required.
