A leading manufacturer of a range of complex electronic applications for the military and aerospace industries are searching for a Mechanical Design Engineer - Mould Tooling to join their dynamic team based in Whitstable, Kent.
Our client is looking for a proactive Mechanical Design Engineer to join a growing and forward-thinking design team. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to investigate production and quality issues, identify root cause and implement robust design and tooling solutions that support manufacturability, quality and long-term process stability.

* Contribute to the moulding engineering design workload, supporting both production and development activities.
* Investigate production stops and quality issues, identify root cause and implementing corrective design or tooling changes.

THE ROLE: Refrigeration Engineer, Service Engineer, FGAS, Electrical, ODS
As our Engineer, you’ll be working as part of a sizable national refrigeration service and install team (over 20 Engineers), usually covering the area in between Stoke - Warrington. You know you will be home every night and that’s important to you.
On rare occasions you may be asked to help further afield to cover holiday/sickness, but only in extreme circumstances. There is paid overtime.
No two days will be the same, you will support on installation, planned service and fault-finding reactive diagnostics work covering controllers, refrigeration circuits, cooling issues, PLC updates, valves and calibration work - so there will be plenty of variety for you.
You will be managed by an experienced hands-on service manager who joined the business as an apprentice and is now leading the engineering team.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES: Refrigeration Engineer, Service Engineer, FGAS, Electrical, ODS
· You’ll be competent electrically and mechanically on suitable refrigeration circuits and climatic systems
· You’re happy with some installation work, but predominately service and fault-finding / diagnostics

· You will be experienced electrically and mechanically, ideally qualified 18th edition and have your FGAS & ODS Regs 2079

We are seeking a hands-on Manufacturing Test Engineer to perform rigorous electronic testing across a diverse range of products. This role involves bench testing, tank testing, fault diagnosis, and support throughout the production process-from component level, through PCB and chassis assembly, to final unit assembly. The successful candidate will ensure strict adherence to production schedules, quality standards, and safety requirements.
