Shift: Mon-Fri Double Days (6am-2pm for two weeks, then 2pm-10pm one week)

The Role

Founded in 2024 by an exceptionally experienced team of product designers and engineers, several of whom have previously built and exited companies for significant sums, this is a genuine ground-floor opportunity to shape a product from first principles.
This is a small, high-calibre team spanning hardware, embedded systems, software and machine learning. They are building something ambitious, technically complex and product-led, with audio forming a central pillar of the roadmap.

Requirements for Audio Systems Engineer:

• Strong academic or commercial experience in audio DSP and signal processing

What Can You Expect?

At OTIS, we offer one of the most comprehensive apprenticeship schemes in the lift industry.

As an Engineer Apprentice, you’ll work within a supportive team, combining hands-on experience with classroom-based learning to achieve an NVQ Level 3 qualification-essential for a career as a Lift and Escalator Engineer.

Your training will be fully supported by OTIS and our trusted apprenticeship provider.

Once qualified as a Service Lift Engineer, you’ll manage a regular route, performing routine service visits and repairs. You’ll diagnose electrical and mechanical issues and keep customers informed about the status of their equipment.

Who Are We Looking For?

We’re seeking aspiring engineers with strong communication skills, a collaborative approach, and a proactive mindset. You should demonstrate:

• 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) at grade C/Grade 4 or above, including Maths, English, and a STEM subject
• A willingness to attend and complete all required training throughout the apprenticeship
• You will require your own laptop

Are you passionate about IT and looking to grow your career within a fast-paced, expanding organisation? We are seeking an FLS Engineer Grade 2 to join our Maintenance Service Centre in Hatfield, supporting customers throughout the full device lifecycle.

The Role

You will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, configuring, and staging a range of IT equipment including laptops, desktops, tablets, and mobile devices. Working in a high-volume environment, you will ensure devices are built, repaired, and prepared to meet customer SLAs.

Key Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues
• Perform laptop, desktop, and mobile device repairs
• Install spare parts and carry out warranty repairs to OEM standards
• Stage and configure devices with predefined builds
• Manage and update service tickets accurately
• Maintain asset tracking and workshop organisation (6S)
• Escalate potential SLA risks to supervisors

What We re Looking For

• Experience repairing laptops, desktops, and mobile devices
• Familiarity with HP, Dell, Apple, and Lenovo systems
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
• Excellent organisation and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and within a team
• Eligible to obtain Government SC clearance
