About the Role
As a Rail Plant Engineer, you will carry out LOLER and PUWER inspections, servicing, and maintenance of plant machinery and attachments used within rail and civil engineering environments. The Rail Plant Engineer role includes weekday engineering support and paid weekend rail cover, ensuring all equipment is safe, compliant, and ready for use. You will diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues, complete accurate documentation, and work closely with engineers, clients, and rail stakeholders while adhering to strict safety and compliance standards.
About You
To succeed as a Rail Plant Engineer, you will have hands-on plant engineering experience and a strong understanding of rail and plant hire regulations. You will be comfortable working independently or as part of a team and take pride in leaving equipment and work areas safe and compliant.

Minimum NVQ Level 2 in Plant Engineering or equivalent
At least three years’ industry experience

Contract : DSP Software Engineer
Location: Manchester (On-site)
Duration & Type: Contract / 6 Months
Pay: £45/50 per hour (Outside IR35)

About the Role
You will be developing and maintain high-quality C++ software for real-time signal processing systems running on Linux. The role involves designing and implementing DSP algorithms, debugging and deploying software, and ensuring strong performance and reliability. You ll write standards-compliant code, support CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or Git, and collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment to deliver robust, maintainable software.
