Project Manager- Oxfordshire
The Role
The Project Manager role is to deliver multiple ongoing projects, to the specified quality, the required programme and to the maximum commercial performance. The role also involves working closely with the Estimating Department, engineers, and surveyors to ensure that projects are completed safely, whilst ensuring customer requirements and expectations are always maintained or exceeded.
Key Responsibilities
General Management
Produce financial forecasts, monitor and control project costs and cost reporting, and produce monthly reports to the Contracts Manager on project performance, efficient team building and labour organisation
Deliver projects from the design phase to completion including all handover documentation
Review progress, budget resources and planning
Review work packages and ensure the scope of work is clearly defined and understood
Chair weekly site meetings and ensure the production of accurate records of any discussions and actions
Build and maintain good relationships with the customer, framework suppliers and design consultants
Develop and maintain construction programmes with staff
Co-ordinate and manage site investigations during the ongoing construction process
Develop engineering solutions so that a buildable cost-effective construction solution is delivered that fulfils the client’s requirements
Ensure production and implementation of Project Plans, risk assessments, method statements, site waste management plans, and procurement of plant and materials are in line with company procedures
Ensure detailed site diaries/records are completed
Maintain commercial tension to drive out costs and challenge the status quo
Prepare comprehensive estimates for additional work outside target costs
Assist with estimating new tenders

By example, set the highest possible standards of leadership in the promotion of HS&E procedures and best practices, ensuring compliance with Company procedures and legal obligations
Ensure all HSE-related documents are kept up to date

Allocate HSE responsibilities and duties for site personnel, check understanding and provide training as necessary
Ensure that all subcontractors take appropriate steps to follow procedures and processes
Ensure that site waste management plans and site-specific environmental risk assessments are produced and maintained
Liaise with third parties to ensure compliance with HSG47, HAUC, NRSWA and Chapter 8 and other required regulatory standards
Provide training and briefings to the team, to lead cascade briefings, TBTs, 3 Pillar Forums and general briefings
Quality
Be responsible for managing and producing ITPs and ensure they are signed off by relevant parties
Ensure that the QA File is produced and maintained
Close out any technical queries
Ensure as-builts and O&M manuals are submitted to the client on completion

The Role Handle incoming enquiries and provide first-line technical support on electrical products and systems. Review specifications, drawings and electrical schematics to identify suitable solutions. Prepare quotations, tenders and supporting documentation for both standard and bespoke requirements. Work closely with internal engineering, operations and commercial teams to gather accurate information. Support external sales teams with follow-ups, data gathering and customer communication. Maintain CRM records, tender templates and technical literature. Assist with order handovers to customer service and project teams.
What Youll Need Strong grounding in electrical engineering (HNC/HND/Degree preferred). Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics and technical specifications. Experience preparing quotes or proposals for engineered or electrical products. Confident communicator with good customer-facing skills. Competent user of Microsoft Office.

Job Description
The Chief Engineer is a highly experienced engineer with in-depth experience of the full project lifecycle and the associated governance requirements. The Chief Engineer provides oversight for multiple large, complex and multi-disciplinary projects, within Ultra Cyber, ranging from tens of k to several m. Responsibilities include assurance of project adherence to both functional and non-functional requirements (e.g. safety, conformance, quality), and oversight to ensure high quality design that is developed in accordance with the required security aspects.

We are seeking an experienced Windows Server Team Leader to support a major programme of work which is due to start in April. This is a hands-on leadership contract role where you will help transition an established Windows team to effectively deliver both operational support and project-based work.
