  • Develop detailed Functional Design Specifications and associated schedules from the agreed Control Philosophy in accordance with the Companys Quality procedures.
  • Implementation of robust change control during the entire project lifecycle.
  • Develop the Factory Acceptance Test Documentation
  • Fully document, resolve and re-test any defects identified during testing.
  • Carry out Site Acceptance Testing of the Control System against the SAT document.

What Do You Need?

  • HNC/HND/Degree in Engineering or equivalent, with particular emphasis in electrical, mechanical, electronic, or automation.
  • Have proven ability in the design and commissioning of control and electrical systems associated with process automation, preferably in the Hydro power and Water sector.
  • Detailed experience in the development of Control Systems solutions using Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and HMI/SCADA and Telemetry Systems in the process control environment using one or more of the following manufacturers: Allen Bradley/ Rockwell, Mitsubishi
  • Experienced in integration and modification into existing systems PLC control systems in a live environment.
  • Have a strong working knowledge of process systems, P&ID control and loop tuning
  • Working knowledge and an understanding of electrical schematics.
