About The Role
A core Server Side Java developer is required for a Tier 1 investment bank supporting the Equity Swaps business. This is a global Front Office team that writes the software supporting a leading provider of the Equity Swap product. you’ll start on an entry point salary of £44,339 per annum, increasing to £47,110 after 6 months service and satisfactory performance and to £49,881 after a further 6 months.

This year, the charity has embarked on a bold, strategic initiative to enhance their data capabilities.
The organisation is aiming to improve their data use, integration and analytics to increase engagement, maximise impact and drive forward their strategic goals. With a key focus on effective and efficient operations, collaboration and continuous improvement in their Technology, Strategy and Business Intelligence teams.
To achieve this ambition, the charity has developed a new technology infrastructure which they are calling “Sage”. They are implementing new technology infrastructure this year (such as their new CRM system and suite of data tools - Microsoft Dynamics).
The Business Intelligence Reporting Lead will be the charity’s leading expert in Power BI and other reporting tools, playing a crucial role in enhancing the organisation’s data maturity and decision-making capabilities. They will be responsible for the design, development, and management of BI reports and dashboards across multiple BI tools, overseeing their full lifecycle from requirements gathering to deployment, maintenance, and optimisation. This includes providing best practice guidance for reporting within systems such as Dynamics and Assemble.
As the expert of BI reporting, they will ensure that staff have access to data, and that reporting mechanisms remains available, effective, and continuously developed to address new and existing challenges. This will involve complex data troubleshooting, including resolving process inefficiencies, data quality issues, and user knowledge gaps. They will work closely with other teams to investigate and resolve these issues.
The BI reporting Lead will contribute to the charity’s data, digital, and technical strategy, particularly within Microsoft Azure data architecture, and play a key role in shaping the strategic use of BI tools across the organisation. Through independent research, collaboration with peers, and engagement with stakeholders, they will define the future direction of BI tools, ensuring that the organisation can fully leverage its data for informed decision-making and operational efficiency.

Summary
NG Bailey IT Services are currently recruiting a Structured Cabling Data Engineer / Managed Services Engineer who will be responsible for the installation and fault finding of Structured and Voice Cabling systems and are delivered within NG Bailey’s clients Service Level Agreements (SLA).
The Data Engineer will have experience of the installation and fault finding of Structured and Voice Cabling systems and preferably hold the CNCI (Certified Network Cable Installer) qualification. You will be responsible for responding to any of our managed service contract break fix requests as per the contract SLA’s. It will be desirable to have experience as a service engineer of Electronic IP Security Systems.
This position is working across military sites, therefore Security Clearance is required and is a condition of employment. NG Bailey will support with this application if you are eligible.
Some of the key deliverables in this role will include:
Cost / stock awareness: Ensure material control and maintain records of deliveries and project stock
Weekly Reviews: Ensure provision of timely and accurate internal and customer project reporting (timesheets, mileage returns, daily reports, completion certificates)
Technical: Ensure Service and Projects installation meets internal and client specifications and statutory requirements
Completing red line drawings (desirable)
Electrical experience (desirable)
Willing to be part of an on-call rota
Willing to travel and work away from Home Location in the UK and Overseas
