The Lightning Systems Integration Facility (LSIF) is established at the Maritime Integration & Support Centre (MISC) on Portsdown Hill, Portsmouth, to support testing and integration of the F35 Lightning II Aircraft within the UK military infrastructure.

• Apply and champion the Systems Engineering principles of ISO 15288 to the design and build of complex Radar systems through the entire engineering lifecycle from requirement definition to system integration and customer acceptance into system support and disposal
• Support a Radar Product System Design Authority in product engineering development & customer engagement as directed
• Lead the decomposition of requirements to system and sub-system level and manage these in an approved toolset such as IBM DOORS Next, and create and/or facilitate production of associated design requirement specifications
• Develop, review and adhere to specifications in accordance with stakeholder requirements
• Direct and undertake system design decomposition and architectural modelling to subsystem level, including associated external and internal interface definition & manage architectural models in an approved toolset such as CATIA Magic (Cameo) or Enterprise Architect
• Direct and undertake system integration, test planning and execution
• Define and articulate verification and validation acceptance strategies to demonstrate the adherence of modelled algorithmic solutions to system & performance requirements across a wide range of operational scenarios, supporting production of customer acceptance evidence
• Lead technical reviews, verification and approval of engineering technical design and documentation, ensuring compliance with customer, legislative and business requirements
• Facilitate the production of estimates to support the engineering development of products
• Be a technical focus point for development and analysis activities, including preparing and presenting technical aspects to required stakeholders and providing guidance to own team and beyond
• Maintain a good working knowledge of contemporary Systems Engineering practices including Model Based Engineering, digital threads, cyber security and safety procedures

Knowledge:

Mechanical & Electrical QA/QC Engineer
This position would suit a meticulous QA/QC professional with strong experience in MEP building services across both mechanical and electrical installations. Key Responsibilities

Overview

The Digital Image Processing System (DIPS) is a standalone application currently used across approximately 750 stores in the UK and ROI. This project aims to identify and implement a suitable replacement solution that will integrate with a wider Blended Experience Programme, which includes the rollout of a new global Patient Management System.

Stores use DIPS to scan, store, and retrieve both clinical and operational documents. While originally intended only for clinical materials-such as visual field results-the system is widely used for a broader range of documents. Each store typically operates a dedicated DIPS PC and scanner within the back-office environment.

The selected replacement solution will form part of future global architecture but will be implemented in the UK and ROI first.

A major component of the project will involve migrating existing documents from the current DIPS product to the new platform. As part of this migration, documents will require triage to determine whether they are clinical-moving to a clinical storage solution linked to customer records-or non-clinical, which will be directed into an alternative storage solution.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end delivery of a new document management and scanning solution to replace the current DIPS application.
• Define requirements, evaluate market options, and participate in RFP processes to ensure the selected solution aligns with business and programme objectives.
• Oversee system integration and large-scale data migration activities, including document triage and routing to appropriate storage platforms.
