OLG Recruitment are currently looking for two CE&I Safety Systems Design Engineers for our client located in Warrington. You will be required to support a project within the silos CE&I Design Team, delivering and supporting and checking Safety System design packages to meet safety, functional and business needs. This is a contract position for a minimum of 18 months, this requirement has been assessed as inside IR35.
Essential:
Academic Qualification: Minimum - HNC
Professional Qualification: Minimum - Incorporated Engineer
Experience:
Minimum 3 years successfully delivering as a CE&I Safety System Design Engineer on external multidiscipline projects, from concept design through to handover, with a working knowledge of the appropriate Engineering Standards
Effective verbal and written communication skills and the ability to convey information to other team members/disciplines
Providing support to the Commissioning Team
Willingness to support early career Engineers
Desirable Experience:
Minimum 5 years successfully delivering as a CE&I Safety System Design Engineer on external and/or SL multidiscipline projects, from concept design through to handover, with a working understanding of the appropriate Engineering Standards.
Evidence of applying a pragmatic approach to the delivery of new/modified safety requirements on existing systems
