As part of a collaborative and supportive team, youll contribute to shaping how we scale, automate, and improve our platformwhile growing your skills and working alongside experienced engineers across the company.
Your day-to-day
Design, implement and maintain infrastructure and services within cloud environments.
Contribute to delivery of key projects addressing challenges around scaling, data storage, data privacy and security.
Aid in delivery of our Kubernetes migration
Embed in the Platform team and become a key player in projects across Engineering and Security
Implement process and quality improvements through task automation.
Drive and promote best practice with regards to data storage and longer term architectural decisions across teams
What you bring to the team
You have a solid technical foundation and enjoy contributing to high-performing teams.
You’re eager to learn and open to picking up new technologies as needed.
You understand the value of CI/CD in modern software development and recognize the challenges teams face without it.
You appreciate the benefits of self-service and automation in streamlining workflows.
Youre comfortable working in a fast-paced, agile environment and can adapt to changing priorities.
Experience
Some experience or exposure to cloud platforms, preferably AWS (or similar platforms like GCP or Azure).
Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) concepts and an interest in automation and repeatable infrastructure practices.
Basic understanding of Linux systems, networking fundamentals, and scripting (e.g. Bash).
Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g. Python) and a keen willingness to engage with and work in diverse programming languages, showcasing adaptability and a commitment to continuous learning.
Understanding of Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) principles and their role in efficient software development.
Awareness of monitoring and observability practices to support system reliability and performance.
A proactive mindset, eagerness to learn, and a collaborative approach to solving engineering challenges.
