Are you an engineer who loves building real AI systems that actually do things?
Do you get excited about autonomy and turning manual workflows into intelligent automation?
If yes - we’d really like to talk to you.
We’re hiring an AI Automation Engineer to join a small, highly technical AI team in financial services who are building a brand‑new automation tool from the ground up. This is a rare chance to step into a role where your ideas, your engineering approach, and your problem‑solving mindset will directly define the outcome.
⭐ Why we need you
Right now, critical internal data workflows rely on manual matching, Excel processes, and human‑driven calculations. It works - but it doesn’t scale, it’s slow, and it’s time‑consuming.
We need you to turn this into an intelligent, automated AI system, capable of reasoning, validating, matching and running calculations without human prompting.
Your experience in agentic AI, LLM‑based automation, Python engineering, and end‑to‑end build work is exactly what will enable us to replace a manual workflow with a robust, smart, production‑ready tool.
The impact you’ll make
You will:
Use your Python skills to build an AI‑driven automation tool that replaces manual data matching and spreadsheet workflows
Use agentic AI and LLM‑based reasoning to create autonomous workflows
Design, prototype, iterate and ship - end‑to‑end
Collaborate directly with a Head of AI who values independence and technical depth
Bring engineering discipline to a greenfield automation project
Create something the entire business will rely on daily
Why this role is different
Massive autonomy - you’re not one of 20 engineers; your work is the work
Greenfield build - no legacy code to untangle
Direct access to technical leadership
Clear, valuable real‑world use case
Hybrid flexibility after the first month
If you enjoy creating intelligent systems that make people’s working lives easier - and you want the satisfaction of building something new from scratch - is this a role worth exploring?
