The Opportunity

Innova Search is partnering with a global leader in industrial processing machinery to find a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to join their established engineering team. This is a role for a designer who enjoys the full product lifecycle, from initial concept and complex 3D modeling to supporting the shop floor during assembly and conducting Root Cause Analysis.

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for a proactive engineer who can work independently but thrives in a collaborative, multi-disciplinary environment.

  • Education: A Degree, HND, or ONC/HNC in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Technical Mastery: Advanced proficiency in CAD software (Solidworks used, however upskilling available, if required) and a strong grasp of mechanical engineering principles.
  • Commercial Acumen: An understanding of value engineering and the ability to design with lead times and production costs in mind.

Why Apply?

This isn’t just a “behind-the-desk” CAD role. You will have a tangible impact on the product, visiting customers, supporting the manufacturing facility, and contributing to the continuous improvement of a world-class product range.
