We are seeking an experienced Penetration Tester to perform advanced security assessments within a critical national infrastructure environment. You will play a key role in testing and assuring the security of complex operational technology (OT) and IP-based communication systems aligned to NIS-R and IEC 62443 standards. This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong tester with CHECK accreditation to support a major security assurance programme in the rail communications domain.Key Responsibilities:

Support the security evaluation of GSM-R/FTS platforms and IP terminal systems (ISDN to IP migration projects).

Plymouth (On Site)PermanentSummaryNG Bailey IT Services are currently recruiting a Structured Cabling Data Engineer / Managed Services Engineer who will be responsible for the installation and fault finding of Structured and Voice Cabling systems and are delivered within NG Bailey’s clients Service Level Agreements (SLA).The Data Engineer will have experience of the installation and fault finding of Structured and Voice Cabling systems and preferably hold the CNCI (Certified Network Cable Installer) qualification. You will be responsible for responding to any of our managed service contract break fix requests as per the contract SLA’s. It will be desirable to have experience as a service engineer of Electronic IP Security Systems.This position is working across military sites, therefore Security Clearance is required and is a condition of employment. Lead automation projects from concept to validation, including supplier engagement, FAT/SAT, and handover to operations

Develop machine-to-system connectivity (MES/ERP/SCADA) to enhance traceability, data capture, and compliance

Conduct software and process validation for new and existing equipment in line with ISO9001 and other regulatory standards

Ensure all changes follow robust change control and are fully documented for audit readiness

Identify risks from obsolescence and lead mitigation or upgrade programs

Automation Engineer**- You:**

HNC (or higher) in Electrical / Control / Automation Engineering

Proven experience programming and fault-finding on PLC and automated equipment

Track record of delivering automation or controls projects in a regulated manufacturing environment (medical, food, aerospace or similar)

Experience of process and product validation

Strong understanding of control systems, networks, and HMIs

Knowledge of software lifecycle management and change control

Strong organisational skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels

Working overhead (poles) and underground (ducts, chambers, cabinets)

Fibre splicing, cabling, and testing

Completing all work safely and to specification

Supporting network build and maintenance projects nationwide
