Product Safety Team:

The River Class Destroyer project is part of an ‘unprecedented fleet renewal’ by the Royal Canadian Navy (RCN). As part of this project, you will be joining a small team of 11 Product Safety practitioners located across two sites. You may be working with others on a large complex programme or individually for one or many smaller programmes.

Accountability for the safety of the design solution rests with the Technical Authority. Your role is to support the Technical Authority in their decision making, create a plan of activities that will ensure that by working within the Product safety management framework, risks have been identified systematically and managed so far as is reasonable practicable.
