The Role:
This is a crucial role in ensuring the network infrastructure is optimised for performance and resilience, and mentoring support staff in network infrastructure best practice. The role combines hands-on support of the product pipeline whilst contributing to the improvement of key systems.
Essential Skills:
Knowledge of DevOps practices including: CI/CD pipeline design and automation
Containerisation and orchestration
Monitoring and observability tools
Experience in the defence or advanced technology sector
Experience with GPU based computer environments
Experience with MLOps and associated tooling
Experience with data pipelines
Experience with Infrastructure as Code
Experience with security integration in DevOps i.e. DevSecOps
Service-oriented with effective communication skills
Ability to prioritize workload under minimal supervision
Undergraduate degree or equivalent working experience

Software Engineer On-site, Corsham (SN13)
This is an opportunity to make an impact within a dedicated team that takes great pride in delivering solutions in a role of critical importance, working embedded on a client site. As a software engineer you can expect to be involved insupporting ongoing maintenance and enhancement of mission-critical simulation software, working in both Windows and Red Hat Linux environments.

The Role
As Project Manager, you will take full responsibility for delivering a multi-disciplinary civils/construction project. The scheme includes significant structural and architectural elements such as doors, windows, roofing systems, and detailed internal fit-out packages. You’ll be working in a live rail environment, navigating the demands of Network Rail while delivering a technically complex scheme on a historic, listed asset. That mix of operational pressure, heritage constraints, and detailed building work is where strong Project Managers stand out.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the end-to-end delivery of a major station enhancement project
Manage complex shell, core, and fit-out packages
Oversee installation of technical building components (doors, windows, roofing systems, etc.)
Ensure works are delivered safely within a live rail environment

WSSE are integral in the development of weapon systems and system architectures, and as a result we have developed a capability supporting developments across the full product life cycle.
The team integrate real products, models and synthetic environments to provide visualisations, demonstrations, verification & validation as well as training capability and support.
The role support the development of the worlds most advanced defence systems from the initial concept all the way through to in service support and training, using a range of simulation technologies, including digital twins and emulators.
Working with Project Leads and Simulation Architects to design and develop simulation components as an end to end representation of a weapon System in a synthetic environment using C#, C++ and integration simulations, supporting a number of industry standards.
You will work as part of a heterogeneous agile development team, made up of mixed discipline engineers working in synergy to develop simulations and representations of real equipment.
