This is a technical role supporting the delivery and technical development of server, storage and Azure Cloud services across the University.

The Infrastructure Analyst role is critical in the delivery of university server, storage and Cloud infrastructure services. Daily they are responsible for the delivery of projects, BAU activities within the team, and the resolution of customer requests and support calls.

• Actively participate in the service Duty Officer Rota, assign and complete customer support or service requests following agreed SLAs for ticket completion.

Safety Engineer Job Description:
An opportunity has arisen for an engineer to exploit their safety engineering skills to influence the safety aspects of one of our technically complex products. While exploring the boundaries of best practice, this will involve optimising the effort devoted to safety assurance, with the goal of balancing safety against the inherently lethal attributes required of complex weapon systems.
The role is to deliver the safety analysis and assurance that will enable one of our products to be integrated onto a small range of platforms. This will involve working closely with internal delivery teams, as well as UK and non-UK customers. The successful candidate will be required to liaise with key stakeholders (including, but not necessarily limited to, external customers, the platform authorities and stakeholders) to help define the safety boundary for the development of safety claims and take a leading role in the production and evolution of the associated Safety Management Plans and delivery of the required safety analyses. In support of this, experience of the following is expected:

• Hazard identification exercises (such as SWIFT and HAZOP);
