As a Domestic Construction Project Manager, you will lead the delivery of low-carbon retrofit and energy efficiency solutions to domestic buildings, playing a crucial role in my client’s mission to enhance sustainable living.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Manage the delivery of domestic construction and retrofit projects, ensuring compliance with PAS 2035.
  • Coordinate between Retrofit Coordinators, Designers, and PAS 2030-certified installers from post-assessment and design coordination through installation and final handover.
  • Oversee the construction and installation phases of retrofit projects, managing project programme, quality assurance, and resident liaison.
  • Ensure all projects are delivered safely, compliantly, and to a high standard, maintaining audit and compliance readiness.
  • Handle snagging, defects, and post-installation issues while ensuring Health & Safety compliance across domestic sites.
  • Prepare detailed project progress, quality, and compliance reports.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience delivering domestic retrofit or energy efficiency projects.
  • Strong working knowledge of PAS 2035 and experience with PAS 2030-certified installers.
  • Familiarity with MCS-certified technologies and experience in occupied domestic properties.
  • A robust understanding of quality assurance, audit readiness, and retrofit quality assurance and compliance.
  • Full UK driving licence is essential.
  • Desirable: Retrofit related qualification or exposure as a coordinator, and experience delivering government-funded retrofit schemes.

It will be your responsibility to develop opportunities to tender for work and to assist in promoting/growing the business in line with company expectations.

  • Work closely with the marketing department to ensure assist with development of case studies, literature and targeted marketing campaigns.

Experience Required:

The successful candidate must have experience within the Construction sector as a Business Development Manager. Existing relationships with Local Authorities or Housing Associations is ideal, as is knowledge of decarbonisation/retrofit services.
