  • Proficient in3D CADpackage for both modelling and drawing, ideallySolid Edge
  • Ability to interpret and create high quality engineering CAD models and manufacturing drawings, includingGD&T
  • Understanding and appreciation of structural analysis and knowledge of FEA/FEM (eg.ANSYSWorkbench)

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field or equivalent experience
  • Experienced engineer in design role/environment involving rotating machinery
  • Experience in heavy engineering industry,power transmission systems,gearsandgear box
  • Appreciation of bolted joint analysis, shock assessment in relation to geared transmission systems
  • Strong knowledge ofquality management systemsand industry standards (e.g., AS9100, ISO 9001)
  • Proficient inroot cause analysisandfailure mode analysistechniques.
  • Excellent problem-solving andanalytical skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality andcontinuous improvement.
  • Effective communication andinterpersonal skills.
