Role Overview/What will you do:
As an Applications Development Technology Lead Analyst, you will be instrumental in shaping the future of our product quality and delivery, working towards a target state of a fully automated platform with minimal manual QA intervention. This role combines strategic vision with rigorous quality assurance expertise, with a strong emphasis on driving value through automation, particularly in the realm of Generative AI.
- Lead application systems analysis and programming activities, ensuring application design adheres to the overall architecture blueprint.
- Drive product quality and delivery through automation initiatives, especially in generative AI, targeting a fully automated platform with minimal manual QA intervention.
- Partner with management teams to define necessary system enhancements, deploy new products, and resolve high-impact problems through in-depth evaluation of complex business processes.
- Collaborate with development teams and Product Owners to formulate comprehensive requirements and propose innovative, efficient solutions.
- Define and drive the strategy for quality automation, overseeing testing priorities, roadmapping for releases, and continuous improvement.
- Act as a central point of contact for interdepartmental communication, ensuring alignment and seamless collaboration across various project impacts.
- Provide technical expertise, mentor mid-level developers and analysts, and establish standards for coding, testing, debugging, and implementation.
- Proactively assess risk, ensure compliance with laws and regulations, and maintain clear, concise communication across all organizational levels.
Key Skills and Experience required
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Proven relevant experience in Applications Development, systems analysis, or a similar tech lead role.
- Proven experience in product ownership, quality assurance management, or a hybrid role within a technology-driven environment.
- Extensive experience with system analysis, software application programming, and managing successful projects.
- Strong understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and various testing methodologies, with experience driving automation initiatives.
- Demonstrated leadership, project management, and Subject Matter Expertise in at least one area of Applications Development.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, ensuring effective dissemination of information.

My client is seeking to recruit a Fullstack Software Engineer on an initial 12 month contract based in London. It is hybrid and will require 2x days onsite per week.

Basic qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience with frontend software development (e.g. React)

- Cloud experience (e.g. Google Cloud and cloud run preferred) including core web application infrastructure is essential

Test Programme Manager - Ceded Reinsurance

Your New Role
An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Test Programme Manager to join a large-scale Ceded Reinsurance transformation programme within the London Market.
This is a hands-on leadership role, suited to someone who can quickly embed into a complex environment, take ownership of the full testing lifecycle, and bring structure, governance, and pace to delivery from day one.
You will work closely with the Programme Manager, leading all phases of testing across multiple workstreams, internal teams, and third-party vendors.
Your Responsibilities
Test Strategy and Governance
Define and own the overall Test Strategy and Master Test Plan
Establish testing standards, quality gates, and entry and exit criteria
Provide clear and concise reporting to senior stakeholders
Manage risks, issues, and dependencies within testing
Align testing activity with programme milestones and releases
Test Execution and Delivery
Lead end to end testing across all phases including System Testing, Integration Testing, Migration Testing, Non-Functional Testing, UAT, and Regression
Oversee defect management including triage, prioritisation, and resolution tracking
Ensure data integrity and reconciliation across migration activities
Stakeholder and Vendor Management
Act as the primary testing contact for third party vendors and system integrators
Review and challenge vendor deliverables to ensure quality standards are met
Work closely with business and technical stakeholders across reinsurance, finance, actuarial, and IT
Facilitate test planning sessions, defect triage, and go live readiness reviews
Team Leadership
Lead and coordinate test analysts and specialist resources
Provide direction, oversight, and delivery management across the test team
Identify resource gaps and support hiring decisions where required
Environment and Tooling
Own test environments and ensure readiness across all phases
Manage test data in line with compliance and governance standards

You Will Have/Be
Strong experience as a Test Programme Manager or Senior Test Manager within insurance or reinsurance transformation programmes
Solid understanding of Ceded Reinsurance processes including treaty, bordereaux, premiums, and claims
