MCS Group is delighted to be recruiting a Verification Engineer on a Contract basis based in Belfast.If you thrive in complex technical environments, love solving challenging verification problems, and enjoy driving projects from concept to validation, this is the role for you.As the Verification Engineer, you will:

Lead verification activities from requirements through to full design validation

Collaborate with hardware and systems teams to define testbench architectures

Develop and maintain SystemVerilog/UVM test cases, libraries, and environments

Analyse and integrate new SoC tools and methodologies

Create and review test plans, participate in code reviews, and debug regressions

You will have experience in:

ASIC/FPGA hardware development

Strong expertise in UVM, constrained-random verification, VIP integration and coverage sign-off

Experience with high-speed protocols (PCIe, 100GbE, AXI/AMBA)

Solid Python skills and proficiency with CI/CD, Git and scripting (TCL/Perl/Shell)

Understanding of complex SoC flows, ARM/RISC-V architectures, and embedded co-simulation

Familiarity with EDA tools for adaptive SoCs (Vivado/Vitis)

You will have a Degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, or similar.You will receive:

You have proven experience leading teams that have delivered high quality large scale enterprise class applications. Prior experience implementing mission critical resilient distributed systems with high availability based on the Java platform. Proficiency in designing resilient software solutions in collaboration with architects. Familiarity with GenAI and its practical applications. Proven ability to enhance team productivity. Excellent leadership and mentoring skills. Ability to adapt to strategic or tactical approaches as per the situation. Understand and own component security analysis, including code and data flow review. Collaborate with security team to implement and verify secure coding techniques. We count on your curiosity and creativity, to want to understand customer requirements, business processes and want to come up with creative solutions and improvements.
