Description
Hybrid requirements: 1 day per week in the office.
Salt is seeking a QA Engineer to assess software quality through both manual and automated testing. This role involves ensuring the seamless performance of innovative software products by identifying and reporting bugs, executing test cases, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to maintain high software standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Review and analyse system specifications to develop effective test plans.
Execute manual and automated test cases, analysing results and identifying defects.
Evaluate product code against specifications to ensure compliance and performance.
Create logs and reports to document testing phases, bugs, and errors.
Work closely with Product and Project Managers to troubleshoot issues and enhance product quality.
Conduct post-release and post-implementation testing to ensure continued system functionality.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain software quality throughout the development lifecycle.
What We’re Looking For:
Proven experience as a QA Engineer or similar role.
Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, test case execution, and debugging.
Familiarity with Agile frameworks and regression testing is a plus.
Experience with test management software (e.g., Sentry) and SQL.
Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
Strong analytical and problem-solving aptitude.
Organised, self-motivated, and able to prioritise tasks effectively.
Salary & Contract:
£40,000–£50,000 per year (Permanent)

Hybrid (1 day per week in Central London)
