Description

Hybrid requirements: 1 day per week in the office.

Overview:

We are looking for a technical leader with experience in .Net & PHP, a Product mindset, and a strong ability to communicate with non-technical stakeholders. You will lead and oversee multiple engineering teams working on payments, billing finance systems, and Jigsaw technology.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage two engineering teams (Payments & Billing using PHP/Laravel & Jigsaw using .Net), managing resource allocation and team structure across multiple projects.

Drive technical strategy and architecture decisions across payment processing and financial systems.

Mentor and develop engineering talent, fostering a culture of technical excellence.

Collaborate with stakeholders to align engineering initiatives with business objectives.

Ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions while maintaining technical standards.

Partner with the Product Manager to create a short- and long-term Product engineering vision, building customer-focused products aligned with Tillo’s expansion and growth ambitions.

Serve as the point of escalation for any platform-related issues, coordinating resolution efforts and communicating updates to relevant stakeholders.

Support security initiatives, including adherence to ISO 27001 standards, monitoring the Information Security Management System (ISMS), and implementing security controls.

Key Requirements:

Proven experience designing and cultivating an engineering environment that maximises productivity.

Experience establishing clear goals and KPIs for teams to measure progress and align efforts with company objectives.

Implementing engineering processes that streamline workflows and minimise bottlenecks.

Experience delivering complex technical projects in PHP & .Net (not a hands-on role but requires a strong technical background).

Ability to collaborate with Product teams to prioritise user-focused features and balance technical trade-offs.

Experience working on financial transformation projects, optimising tech to create ledgers and systems of record.

Strong communication skills, capable of translating technical terms for stakeholders across the business.

Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment while overseeing multiple projects.
