Hybrid requirements: 2 days per week in the office.
Overview:
We are looking for a technical leader with experience motivating a team of PHP/Laravel Engineers. You will lead a cross-functional team, breaking down complex features into actionable user stories while providing hands-on solutions that are robust, secure, and cost-effective.
Key Responsibilities:
Drive a PHP/Laravel team in crafting exceptional software solutions.
Represent the team’s roadmap to stakeholders, transforming business needs into prioritized engineering projects.
Design and cultivate an engineering environment that maximizes productivity and drives company growth.
Partner closely with the Product Manager to create a compelling short and long-term engineering vision.
Oversee DevOps support, ensuring systems are optimized for peak performance and reliability.
Be the go-to person for platform issues, coordinating swift resolutions and keeping stakeholders informed.
Provide technical expertise in client meetings and support sales and business development teams.
Lead recruitment for the team and support personal development journeys.
Champion security initiatives, ensuring adherence to ISO 27001 standards and maintaining a robust Information Security Management System (ISMS).
Key Requirements:
Experience leading and scaling engineering teams effectively.
Strong technical expertise in PHP & Laravel, with a track record in scaling an API-first business.
Excellent communication skills, capable of working with both technical and non-technical team members.
Customer-centric and product-minded, with strong knowledge of secure development principles.
Proven dedication to maintaining clear and up-to-date documentation.
