Responsibilities: - Lead the development and implementation of the overall data, analytics, CRM/CDP, and operational data vision and strategy. - Advocate for the appropriate use of data to support organisational objectives. - Provide leadership and expertise in designing new data, research, and insight processes, systems, and approaches. - Lead, recruit, retain, and develop a diverse team of data and insight specialists. - Champion the use of tools such as data visualisation and dashboards to support business operations. - Ensure effective delivery of business intelligence, analytics, and insights pipelines, moving towards predictive analytics and AI integration. - Operationalise data governance principles and standardise data usage, including GDPR compliance. - Manage data engineering to enable ease and speed of data consumption. - Provide subject matter expertise and thought leadership in data, technology, and analytics. - Oversee compliance, governance, and data security. - Align with operations and finance systems for streamlined internal and external processes. - Empower product development teams with the ability to produce and review product analytics. - Advocate for data as a first-class citizen in product development, incorporating reporting considerations from the start. Requirements: - Demonstrated experience designing, leading, and implementing successful data and insight initiatives. - Open, confident, and collaborative, with the ability to challenge constructively and receive feedback. - Effective leader, coach, and mentor. - Proven ability to translate data into actionable insights tailored to stakeholder interests. - Experience introducing and expanding data and insight capabilities. - Ownership of product requirements underpinning analytics use cases and customer data management. - Ability to foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and transparency around data and technology. - Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills.
