Policy Planning Officer - Leicestershire, East Midlands
£40-£50/hr (umbrella) - Hybrid working (office once a fortnight) - 3-month contract (likely to extend)
A Local Authority in Leicestershire is seeking a Policy Planning Officer to support the team through the final stages of Local Plan preparation (Regulation 19).
What You’ll Do
Finalise Regulation 19 documents and draft sections of the plan
Respond to Local Plan consultations and prepare evidence base
Attend occasional evening meetings when needed
What You’ll Bring
Experience in Planning Policy (Officer to Principal level considered)
Strong policy writing and analytical skills
Ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines
