Description
We’re looking for a creative and detail-oriented Web Design Officer to join our Communications team. Reporting to the Senior Web Design Officer, you’ll play a key role in shaping the digital experience for our statutory and income-generating services. You’ll be responsible for planning, developing, and managing web content, with a strong focus on accessibility and user experience.
What you’ll do:
Design and publish engaging, accessible webpages using HTML, CSS and the Sitecore Content Management System
Collaborate with designers and campaign and brand officers to bring creative concepts to life
Develop wireframes and visual layouts using digital design tools to support page structure and user journeys
Use SEO principles, data, and analytics to refine content and improve performance of webpages
Ensure seamless functionality across devices and browsers
Maintain high visual standards and compliance with WCAG and brand guidelines
What we’re looking for:
Proven experience in web content creation and web page design using HTML and CSS, with a portfolio of web design work demonstrating your skills
Strong expertise in applying accessibility standards (WCAG) in practice, including the use of semantic HTML and accessibility attributes
A proactive, detail-oriented mindset with a flair for creativity
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Proficiency in Sitecore, GA4, and Office 365
